Your Bridge Sentence
It's your answer when someone asks, "So what do you do now?" It ends the long explanation and helps people who only knew the old you understand the new you.
Say it out loud. Put it in your email signature, or use it as the first line of your About page.
Your bio line
People decide in a few seconds whether to follow you, connect, or send a message. A clear bio tells them who you help now, not just what you used to do.
Short goes on Instagram, Threads, X, or Skool. Medium goes on Facebook, YouTube, or your website. Long goes in your LinkedIn About section.
Your 15-second spoken intro
It gives you something to say when you're asked to introduce yourself, so you don't ramble or apologize for changing direction.
Use it at networking events, on Zoom calls, in community introductions, or at the start of a video. Say it out loud two or three times first. It should sound like you talking, not reading.
Your transition note
This is a short, warm message to someone from your old chapter. A former student, client, or colleague.
They hear about your change from you, not from a post. It thanks them, keeps the relationship, and often leads to introductions. Send it by email, text, or direct message, and replace [name] first.
Optional
Want a second pass on the wording? Copy your toolkit with a ready-written instruction, then paste it into ChatGPT or Claude.
Read what it gives you out loud. If the new version sounds smoother but less like you, keep yours. Smooth is not the goal.
You don't have to do this part alone.
Sending the note, updating your bio, or saying your sentence out loud for the first time can feel awkward. And getting the words to sound like you, not like a script, is easier with a second pair of eyes.
